Argentine fourth division club Excursionistas want to sign Argentine legend Diego Maradona.
Earlier, the 45-year-old had said: "I'd like to play in a club of Primera C or D, because there's not too much pressure."
Excursionistas president Armando Mainoli said: "When we watched the repetition of that interview some days ago, we had the idea immediately. We want to include Maradona in the official squad.
"We know there is some time yet left to do it and we'd be totally proud of seeing Diego wearing our shirt."
