While attending the opening of the Aspire Sports Academy complex in Doha, Qatar. Diego Maradona revealed some of his opinions on next year's World Cup.
Following Argentina's friendly defeat by England, Maradona said: "Argentina have a very good chance [at the World Cup] but they have to improve in many aspects.
"England won the game but history could be different. That game was useful as a reference but the World Cup finals are different."
On Wayne Rooney, he said: "He is a great player - very powerful and his technique is very good, but he needs guidance, he needs leadership."
On who will win the World Cup, he said: "Brazil, Argentina, Germany, England and Italy, I expect them all to have a chance. The finals usually are down to the same teams."
